Andrea Dunbar brings nearly two decades of experience representing clients in high-net-worth divorces, contested custody matters, and complex family and fiduciary litigation across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. A skilled trial attorney and accomplished negotiator, Andrea helps clients achieve their goals through thoughtfully crafted settlements — or decisive litigation when necessary.
Her practice includes all aspects of probate and family court matters, including trust and estate disputes, guardianships, conservatorships, and high-conflict cases involving family businesses, corporate fiduciaries, and multi-generational trusts. Andrea is known for her ability to navigate sophisticated financial issues with precision while remaining deeply attuned to the human realities behind every case.
Andrea was inspired to pursue family law after seeing how profoundly these matters shape a person’s future, particularly children. She finds meaning in guiding clients through vulnerable moments with clarity, stability, and unwavering advocacy — helping them move forward with dignity and confidence.
Prior to joining Caprio Law, Andrea practiced family law and fiduciary litigation at a highly regarded firm in Boston and previously served the justices of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court as a Law Clerk and Assistant Judicial Case Manager.
Outside the office, Andrea enjoys reading, hosting book clubs, traveling with her husband and friends, and spending time with her family cheering on her daughter at sporting events.
