Angela Manning Clement is a dedicated paralegal who works closely with Caprio Law’s domestic relations attorneys and clients throughout all stages of family law litigation. She plays an integral role in case preparation, helping build the strong evidentiary foundation attorneys need to negotiate effectively, reduce unnecessary conflict, and pursue favorable resolutions for clients.
Angela’s responsibilities include preparing financial statements and asset spreadsheets, managing discovery, drafting pleadings and subpoenas, and assembling comprehensive financial packets for settlement negotiations and litigation. From drafting initial disclosures to organizing discovery materials, she anticipates the needs of each case, identifies potential issues early, and keeps matters moving forward efficiently.
She is particularly experienced in divorce and separation, child custody, child support, and civil litigation. Her background includes drafting pleadings and agreements, assisting with trial preparation, reviewing and analyzing complex financial records, uncovering hidden assets, and tracing the dissipation of marital property. Having worked in both large and small law firms, Angela has developed the adaptability and attention to detail needed to manage cases of varying complexity.
One of the areas Angela enjoys most is the investigative side of family law. She takes pride in reconciling bank statements with financial disclosures, tracking down missing exhibits, and coordinating third-party records to ensure attorneys and the court have complete, accurate information. She understands that careful financial analysis can have a meaningful impact on child support determinations, property division, and other aspects of a family law matter, making precision an essential part of her work.
Angela is known for her strong document management skills, thorough trial and deposition preparation, effective communication, and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities at once. She also excels at helping clients navigate the legal process by translating complex court procedures into clear, understandable next steps. Throughout every case, she keeps clients informed about important filings, deadlines, and discovery so they feel supported and informed.
Prior to joining Caprio Law, Angela worked at a prominent Providence law firm, and before entering the legal field, Angela spent several years supervising a multi-store franchise operation. That experience continues to benefit her legal work, particularly when analyzing discovery materials such as profit and loss statements and corporate tax returns to identify potential misuse of funds, underreported income, undisclosed fringe benefits, or questions surrounding business valuation.
Angela earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude, from Roger Williams University. She is a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society and is also a Notary Public.
Outside the office, Angela enjoys gardening, camping, traveling with her family, and following sports.
