Marianna understands that family law matters are often deeply personal and emotionally charged. Her approach is grounded in straightforward communication, thoughtful legal strategy, and organized representation, helping clients feel informed and supported as they make important decisions for themselves and their families.
Prior to joining Caprio Law, Marianna practiced family law at highly regarded boutique firms in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Through that experience, she handled a wide range of domestic relations matters and developed strong skills in representing clients through complex and sensitive family law disputes. She brings that experience, along with a thoughtful and client-focused approach, to her work with the Caprio Law team.
Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Marianna attended Providence College, where she earned her undergraduate degree before continuing her legal education at Roger Williams University School of Law where she graduated cum laude. While in law school, Marianna was selected as one of only four students in the country to participate in the Federal Magistrate Judges Association Fellowship program. She further developed her legal experience through internships with Magistrate Judge Judith Dein of the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts and Associate Justice Elizabeth Ortiz of the Rhode Island Family Court.
