Sophia Caprio focuses her practice exclusively on family law, representing clients in divorce, child custody and support, prenuptial agreements, and complex family disputes across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She is skilled in negotiating marital settlement agreements, managing contempt and enforcement actions, and guiding individuals and families through deeply personal legal transitions with clarity and care.
For Sophia, family law is where the law intersects with real human experience. She has always been drawn to helping people navigate the issues that most profoundly affect their relationships, families, and personal lives. Her approach is empathetic, practical, and forward-thinking — offering clients clear guidance while helping them move through uncertainty with confidence.
Before Caprio Law, Sophia practiced family law at a reputable mid-sized Boston firm and previously represented clients at a leading national law firm, where she focused on complex business litigation and dispute resolution in state and federal courts, securing multi-million dollar awards and settlements.
A Rhode Island native from a large Italian family, Sophia brings warmth and relatability to her work. Outside the office, she enjoys traveling, pilates, long outdoor walks with her husband and their mini-Australian shepherd, Charlie, spending time at the beaches of the Ocean State, and discovering new restaurants.
